Kirkman United Methodist Church History
Founded in 1880, the coming of the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad laid the foundation for the City of Kirkman. Kirkman's growth can be attributed to its development as a terminal for the Carroll branch of the Northwestern railroad, with Kirkman as the hub for a connecting branch rail to Harlan.
