companies:
Farmers Mutual Telephone Coop offers up to a 40 channel system to much of Shelby County (see Cities
tab).
Harlan Municipal Utilities offers a 63 cable and pay-per-view channel system to Harlan including three channels covering local events, athletics, advertising, community news and governmental
meetings.
Marne Elk Horn offers a 37 channel system to Elk Horn and three other area
communities.
Mediacom, the 8th largest U.S. cable TV company, has systems in 23 states with Iowa their largest base. In Harlan they offer 78-digital and pay-per-view channels, 31 DMX music channels a local news, information and advertising channel. |
